Manchester City 1-0 Brentford Highlights
Haaland at the double: City edge out brave Bees
Erling Haaland scored a second-half brace as Manchester City came from behind to beat Brentford 2-0 at the Etihad Stadium and move top of the Premier League table.
The champions were frustrated by a well-organized Brentford side in the first half but Haaland's introduction after the break proved to be decisive.
The Norwegian striker fired City ahead in the 64th minute with a clinical finish from Kevin De Bruyne's cross. And he doubled the lead 10 minutes later with a powerful header from Riyad Mahrez's delivery.
The result sees City move one point clear of Arsenal at the top of the table, while Brentford remain in 14th place.
